AGGRESSIVE MT DESIGN

With its aggressive new front light assembly as well as bold new air scoops and a re-sculpted fuel tank, the next generation MT-03 looks cooler than ever with its dual slant-eye position lights that emphasise its moody and aggressive big-bike looks. And for excellent night-time visibility there's a powerful new centrally mounted LED headlight that burns a hole through the darkness to light up the road ahead.

UPSIDE-DOWN FRONT FORKS

The MT-03's serious big-bike specification is underlined with the addition of all-new upside-down front forks. Equipped with flex-resistant 37mm tubes and a cast aluminium upper triple clamp, the new front end reinforces the bike's high-specification and delivers a confident and smooth ride during braking, acceleration and cornering.

AGILE AND LIGHTWEIGHT

Manufactured from 35mm steel tubing and featuring widely spaced top rails, the MT-03's compact frame mounts the engine at four points to create a strong and lightweight structure.

MULTI FUNCTION INSTRUMENTATION

To match the MT-03's radical new looks and class-leading specification, Yamaha has fitted state-of-the-art instrumentation. Featuring a stylish new LCD meter with data, this meter panel provides easy-to-absorb information.

ABS BRAKING

For strong and predictable stopping power, together with plenty of feel, the MT-03 is equipped with a large diameter 298mm front disc brake featuring a floating 2-piston caliper, while the rear wheel is fitted with a 220mm disc. ABS is fitted as standard.

LIGHTWEIGHT LED FLASHERS

The MT-03's dynamic new appearance is reinforced by the new LED flashers that perfectly complement the bike's aggressive looks.

COMFORTABLE ERGONOMICS

The MT-03's ergonomic handlebar / seat / footrest layout is designed to give an upright riding position that makes this one of the most comfortable and versatile bikes in its class.

QUICK SHIFT SYSTEM

For ultimate acceleration the MT-09 gets a Quick Shift System (QSS) that ensures seamless and clutchless full-throttle upshifts and smooth downshifts. Together with the A&S clutch, this electronic aid transforms the riding experience and enables the rider to optimise the increased torque levels for more thrilling acceleration as well as higher levels of chassis stability and control when downshifting.
